The HOG group here in Historic Folsom California is serious about riding. A perfect example of their commitment – in 2017, Folsom HOG had 73 rides with a total mileage of 157,414; in 2018, we had 60 rides with a total mileage of 167,078; in 2019, Folsom HOG had 82 rides with total mileage 151,797.
Members participating in rides roll through the hills of Northern California to places such as Lake Tahoe, Bodega Bay, Eureka, Napa, the Bay Area, and Yosemite Valley to mention a few. On just about every ride hosted, there are strategic rest stops planned to take periodic breaks en route to the destination and back again. Upon reaching the destination our riders and passengers get to know each other and enjoy each other’s company while eating lunch.
In my experiences with the chapter, I have met some very nice people to visit and joke around with. My wife and I met our best friends in this club. We all have the same common thread and that is to ride, have fun and meet good people. When you get on the open road with the sun shining on you, wind in your face (bugs in your teeth), you have a tendency to forget about the daily grind and have some of the most memorable rides of your life.
We have a family who loves motorcycles to sponsor our chapter. The Guidera family provides excellent support through Harley Davidson of Folsom and Rocklin. They have assisted our HOG Chapter in hosting our annual fundraisers, raffles, picnics’ and barbeques for numerous events throughout the years.
If you want to have a great riding experience come visit us at our General Meeting which is held the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Canyon Grill & Ale House, 9580 Oak Avenue Parkway No. 8 · Folsom, CA
